Holomorphic functions on the upper half plane associated with negative weights satisfy the Bol Identity. In standard notation it says\N\begin{gather*}\N\partial_\tau^{2-k}\, \big( f \big|_k\, \gamma \big) = \big( \partial_\tau^{2-k}\, f \big) \big|_k\, \gamma \quad \text{for all } \gamma \in \mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{R}) \text{.}\N\end{gather*}\NIn other words, the iterated holomorphic derivative is covariant, although there is a priori no reason. The deeper reason is connected to where in the lowest~\(\mathrm{SO}_2(\mathbb{R})\)-types of associated~\((\mathfrak{sl}_2, \mathrm{SO}_2(\mathbb{R}))\)-modules lie. This is also the origin of the integrality of the weight, that is, there is no analogue for half-integral weights.\N\NThe authors extend the Bol Identity to skew-holomorphic Siegel-Jacobi forms. Since they admit a theta decomposition of the form\N\begin{gather*}\N\sum_\mu \overline{f_\mu(\tau)}\, \theta_{m,\mu}(\tau, z) \text{,}\N\end{gather*}\Nfor holomorphic~\(f_\mu\), the natural analogue of the holomorphic deriviative is the anti-holomorphic one. Theorem~1.1 states a covariance with respect to a discrete group specified in the introduction. In the case of genus~\(1\) and co-genus~\(1\), Theorem~1.3 extends this further to skew-harmonic Maass-Jacobi forms, which are referred to as skew-holomorphic harmonic in the paper.
