This paper is the second part of the author's project devoted to proving that the base size \(b_S(G)\) of a finite transitive permutation group \(G\) with solvable point stabiliser \(S\) and trivial solvable radical satisfies \(b_S(G) \leq 5\). For the first part see [the author, J. Group Theory 28, No. 5, 1003--1077 (2025; Zbl 1572.20017)], which provides detailed notation, motivation and general background.\N\NThe present article deals with the case of almost simple groups with socle isomorphic to \(\mathrm{PSU}_n(q)\) or \(\mathrm{PSp}_n(q)\). The author proves that \(\operatorname{Reg}_S(G,5) \geq 5\) for every maximal solvable subgroup \(S\) of \(\Aut(T)\), where \(T\) is either \(\mathrm{PSU}_n(q)\) or \(\mathrm{PSp}_n(q)\) and deduces that \(b_S(G) \leq 5\) in these settings as well.
