      Let \(R = \textbf{k}[x_1,...,x_n, y_1,...,y_n]\) with bigrading \(\mathrm{deg}(x_i) = (1, 0)\), \(\mathrm{deg}(y_i) = (0, 1)\), where \(\textbf{k}\) is an algebraically closed field of arbitrary characteristic. Denote by \(I \subset R\) the bihomogeneous ideal generated by the \(2 \times 2\) minors of the matrix \N\[\N\begin{pmatrix} x_1 & x_2 & ... & x_n\\\Ny_1 & y_2 & ... & y_n \end{pmatrix}.\N\]\NIt is known that for \(a \geq b \geq d\), the \(\textbf{k}\)-vector space \((I^d/I^{d+1})_{(a,b)}\) has a basis indexed by semistandard Young tableaux of shape \((a + b -d, d)\). This \(\textbf{k}\)-vector space has an action of \(\textbf{GL}_n\), and the character of this representation is the Schur polynomial \([(I^d/I^{d+1}))_{(a,b)}]=s_{(a+b-d,d)}\).\N\NSuppose that \(\mathrm{char}(\textbf{k}) = p > 0\). Consider the quotient ring \(\overline{R} = R/(x^p_1,...,x^p_n, y^p_1,...,y^p_n),\) and the ideal \(\overline{I} = I\overline{R}\). The main aim of the paper is to express the character of \((\overline{I}^d/\overline{I}^{d+1})_{(a,b)}\) with truncated Schur polynomials in the \(p = 2\) case (see Theorem 1.1). The result is obtained by a thoruogh analysis of \(2\)-semistandard Young tableaux (see Definition 2.2).
