      Fixing a sequence, \(\sigma = \{\sigma_n\}_{n=1}^\infty \subseteq \{-1, 1\}^{\mathbb N}\), the associated semi-regular of an irrational number \(x \in (0,1)\) is \N\[\Nx =\frac{1}{a_{\sigma, 1} + \frac{\sigma_1}{a_{\sigma,2} + \frac{\sigma_2 }{a_{\sigma, 3} + \dots}}},\N\]\Nwhere \(\sigma_n + a_{\sigma, n} \ge 1\) for all \(n\). Given \(\sigma\), such expansions exist and are unique.\N\NThe present manuscript is concerned with the set of numbers, where for a fixed \(\sigma\), the partial quotients \(a_{\sigma, n}\) are required to lie in some infinite set \(B \subseteq \mathbb{N}\), and are required to tend to infinity with \(n\). Concretely, they define for an infinite set of integers \(B\) and a function \(f :\mathbb{N} \rightarrow [\min B, \infty)\) with \(\lim_{n \rightarrow \infty} f(n) = \infty\) the sets \N\[\NE_\sigma(B) = \left\{ x \in [0,1]: a_{\sigma, n}(x) \in B \; \text{ for all }n \in\mathbb{N}\text{ and } \lim_{n \rightarrow \infty} a_{\sigma,n}(x) = \infty\right\}, \N\]\Nand the subset \N\[\NG_\sigma(B,f) = \left\{x \in E_\sigma(B) : a_{\sigma, n}(x) \le f(n) \text{ for all }n \in\mathbb{N} \right\}. \N\]\NIt is shown that the Hausdorff dimension of these sets coincide and is equal to \(\tau(B)/2\), where \(\tau(B)\) is the exponent of convergence of the set \(B\) given by \N\[\N\tau(B) = \inf \left\{ s \ge 0 : \sum_{k \in B} k^{-s} < \infty\right\}. \N\]\NThe proof uses techniques from non-autonomous conformal iterated function systems for the lower bound, while the upper bound is a covering argument.
