A pseudo-Riemannian manifold \((M, g)\) is conformally Einstein if there is an Einstein representative of the conformal class \([g]\). In the present paper, the authors describe left-invariant Bach-flat Lorentz metrics on non-solvable four-dimensional Lie groups. The main result states that a four-dimensional non-solvable Lie group equipped with a left-invariant Lorentzian metric is conformally Einstein if and only if it is locally conformally flat. As a consequence, a non-trivial conformally Einstein Lorentzian Lie groups must be solvable. The authors also prove the existence of strictly Bach-flat left-invariant metrics on \(\mathrm{SU}(2) \times\mathbb{R}\), whose restriction to \(\mathrm{SU}(2)\) is positive definite, Lorentzian or degenerate, respectively.
