Partially hyperbolic compact complex manifolds (Q6946136)

The authors study more general notions of hyperbolicity for compact complex manifolds than those previously considered by \textit{S. Marouani} and \textit{D. Popovici} [Math. Res. Lett. 30, No. 6, 1813--1855 (2023; Zbl 1564.32028)]. For a compact complex manifold \(X\) of dimension \(n\), \(p\)-Kähler hyperbolicity generalizes balanced hyperbolicity, while \(p\)-hyperbolicity generalizes divisorial hyperbolicity. In each of these generalizations, the latter is recovered when \(p=n-1.\) The authors also introduce a stronger variant of \(p\)-hyperbolicity, called strong \(p\)-hyperbolicity, which excludes a larger class of entire holomorphic maps from \(\mathbb{C}^p\) subject to a weaker growth condition. They show that such entire maps induce Ahlfors currents. Furthermore, they introduce ``partial'' versions of the above notions, in which hyperbolicity is required to hold only in certain directions along a subbundle of \(T^{1,0}X\) of rank at least \(p\). They prove natural implications among these properties, provide some examples of (compact non-Kähler complex) manifolds satisfying them, and give a sufficient criterion for strong partial \(p\)-hyperbolicity in terms of curvature-like objects introduced by \textit{D. Popovici} [Math. Z. 305, Nr. 1, Papier Nr. 7, 40 S. (2023; Zbl 1531.53075)].
