In the paper, a robust model predictive control method with event-triggered learning has been suggested for unknown linear time-varying systems. It is assumed that matrices of the systems belong to an unknown polytope. By exclusively relying on the observation at each sampling instant, a learning scheme involving a model estimation and polytope learning has been designed. With the constructed error capable of connecting two consecutive learned polytopes, the input-to-state stability has been analyzed. Simulations results showing efficiency of the proposed approach are given.
