    Let \(W\) be a complex vector space of dimension \(\dim_{\mathbb C}(W)=m \geq 3\) and let \(\mathcal{K}(W)\) denote the space of convex bodies in \(W\) equipped with the Hausdorff distance. A map \(Z: \mathcal{K}(W) \rightarrow \mathcal{K}(W)\) is called a Minkowski valuation if \(Z(K \cup L) + Z(K \cap L)= Z(K) + Z(L)\) for all \(K,L \in \mathcal{K}(W)\) such that \(K \cup L \in \mathcal{K}(W)\), where addition is the Minkowski sum (i.e. \(X+Y=\{x+y: x \in X, y \in Y\}\)). \(Z\) is translation invariant if \(Z(K+t)=Z(K)\) for all \(K \in \mathcal{K}(W)\), \(t \in W\). \(Z\) is covariant with respect to the complex special linear group \(SL(W,\mathbb{C})\) if \(Z(gK)=gZ(K)\) for all \(K \in \mathcal{K}(W)\), \(g \in SL(W,\mathbb{C})\). It is shown that a map \(Z: \mathcal{K}(W) \rightarrow \mathcal{K}(W)\) is a continuous, translation invariant and \(SL(W,\mathbb{C})\)-covariant Minkowski valuation if and only if there exists a convex body \(C \subseteq \mathbb{C}\) such that \(Z(\cdot)=D_C(\cdot)\), where the support function of the body \(D_C K\) is given by \(h(D_C K,\xi)=\int_{S^1} h(\alpha K,\xi) dS(C,\alpha)\) for \(\xi \in W^\ast\). Here \(dS(C,\cdot)\) is the surface area measure of \(C\) and, for \(\alpha \in S^1=\{z \in \mathbb{C}:|z|=1\}\), \(\alpha K=\{\alpha k: k \in K\}\). In the above situation the body \(C\) is unique up to translation. The paper contains separate results for the case \(m=2\).
