The main result is an explicit formula for the proper class numbers of binary quadratic polynomials (i.e., shifted two-dimensional lattices \(L+v\)) over an arbitrary number field \(K\). The formula is proved in the case where the conductor ideal is sufficiently divisible at dyadic places. Previously, it was known that this class number can be obtained from the class number of binary quadratic forms and finite number of local factors associated with primes that divide the conductor ideal. In this paper, these factors are calculated.\N\NIn the case of totally real \(K\) it is shown that class number can be estimated from below in terms of norm of the conductor ideas. As a corollary, it is shown that in this case we have only finite number of totally positive binary quadratic polynomials with a fixed quadratic part and a fixed proper class number.
