The paper deals with the existence and multiplicity of \(T\)-periodic solutions for non-autonomous Hamiltonian systems of the type \[ \ddot u(t) + \nabla F(t,u(t)) = 0, \] where \(F \in C^1(\mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}^n, \mathbb{R})\) is \(T\)-periodic in the first variable and satisfies suitable symmetry conditions (\(F(t,u)\) even in both variables, or at least one of them). Under growth restrictions on \(F(t,\cdot)\), the authors establish various results, proving the existence of one, two or three \(T\)-periodic solutions. The proofs employ variational tools (on suitable subspaces of \(H^1_T\)-functions satisfying symmetry conditions) to detect local/global minima and mountain pass-type critical points of the usual energy functional.
