In the paper under review, the authors determine all Lucas numbers that are products of two Pell numbers and all Pell numbers that are products of two Lucas numbers. To prove their main results, the authors use a clever combination of techniques in Diophantine number theory, the usual properties of Lucas and Pell sequences, Baker's theory for nonzero lower bounds for linear forms in logarithms of algebraic numbers, and the reduction techniques involving the theory of continued fractions. Computations are done with the aid of simple computer programs in \texttt{Mathematica}.
