The author proves that every fusion 2-category is separable. The argument relies on the facts that every finite semisimple module 2-category over a fusion 2-category can be realized as the 2-category of modules over an algebra, and that the 2-category of bimodules over a separable algebra in a fusion 2-category inherits a canonical monoidal structure, making it a multifusion 2-category. Since every fusion 2-category is Morita equivalent to a connected fusion 2-category, it follows that every fusion 2-category is separable.
