This paper studies the behavior of finiteness properties \(\mathrm{F}_n\) and \(\mathrm{FP}_n\) under relative hyperbolicity. The main theorem states that if \(G\) is relatively hyperbolic with respect to a subgroup \(H\), then \(G\) is of type \(\mathrm{F}_n\) (\(\mathrm{FP}_n\)) if and only if \(H\) is of type \(\mathrm{F}_n\) (\(\mathrm{FP}_n\)).\N\NWorking in the setting of relatively hyperbolic groups with respect to a single peripheral subgroup, the author proves that the relative Rips complex \(\mathrm{Rips}_{r,d,s}(G,H)\) admits a filtration of finite \(n\)-type whose reduced homology vanishes essentially in degrees \(<n\), provided \(H\) satisfies the corresponding finiteness condition. The argument adapts techniques from \textit{F. Dahmani} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 86, No. 3, 666--684 (2003; Zbl 1031.20039)] and relies crucially on the finiteness criterion by \textit{K. S. Brown} [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 44, 45--75 (1987; Zbl 0613.20033)] for \(\mathrm{FP}_n\)-type, as well as on the bounded coset penetration (BCP) property of the coned-off Cayley graph. Homotopies are constructed using relative geodesics with controlled penetration into peripheral cosets and localized modifications of the support of simplices.\N\NAs an application, the author constructs countably many quasi-isometry classes of non-amenable one-ended groups of type \(\mathrm{F}_n\) (\(\mathrm{FP}_n\)) but not of type \(\mathrm{F}_{n+1}\) (\(\mathrm{FP}_{n+1}\)), thereby extending previous results for amenable and free-product groups.
