The paper presents a numerical study of the magnetohydrodynamic micropolar nanofluid past a stretching sheet with Cattaneo-Christov heat flux. The influence of Soret and Dufour effects on the hybrid nanofluid is analysed. The governing equations consist of two-dimensional steady-state continuity, momentum, energy and also species mass concentration subject equations to some appropriate boundary conditions. The algebraic models are used to present the effective density, viscosity, specific heat and thermal conductivity of the nanofluid. The governing equations are discretized by shooting method and are solved by the standard Matlab solver. The effects of various parameters on the flow field, temperature and mass profiles are presented graphically. While the magnetic parameter reduces the motion, the Biot and Eckert numbers have significant positive effects on the thermal profile.
