The author investigates the semilinear PDE \N\[\N-\nabla \cdot (D(x) \nabla u_\lambda ) + \vec{C}(x) \cdot \nabla u_\lambda + \lambda H f(u_\lambda) =0 \quad \hbox{in \(\Omega\)} \tag{1}\N\]\Nwhere \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\) with smooth boundary, \(D(x)\) is a symmetric, uniformly elliptic, \(N \times N\) matrix for each \(x \in \overline{\Omega}\), and \(f \in C^1(\mathbb{R})\) is strictly increasing and vanishes at a unique point \(\theta_0\). Equation (1) is coupled with a linear-type boundary condition \N\[\Nu_\lambda (x) + b(x) \frac{\partial u_\lambda}{\partial \vec{n}} (x) = g_0(x) + \sum_{j=1}^\infty g_j (x) u_\lambda (\xi_j), \qquad x \in \partial \Omega, \tag{2}\N\]\Nwhere \(\vec{n}\) represents the outer normal vector field on \(\partial \Omega\) and \(\xi_j\) are given distinct points in \(\Omega\). Under suitable technical assumptions, the author proves that this problem has (at least) one solution, provided that the parameter \(\lambda\) is sufficiently large.
