In this paper, the authors study the growth rate of the digits of the Schneider \(p\)-adic continued fraction expansion. The Schneider \(p\)-adic continued fraction map \(T_p:p\mathbb{Z}_p\rightarrow p\mathbb{Z}_p\) is defined by \(T_p(0)=0\) and \(T_p(x)=p^{a_1(x)}{x}-b_1(x)\), where \(a_1(x)=v_p(x)\) and \(b_1(x)\in \{1,2,\dots,p-1\}\) satisfies \(\frac{p^{a_1(x)}}{x}\equiv b_1(x)\mod p\). The Schneider \(p\)-adic continued fraction is given by \(x:=[a_1(x),b_1(x);a_2(x),b_2(x)\dots]\). Given a function \(\psi:\mathbb{N}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}^+\) with \(\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\psi(n)=\infty\), define \N\[\NE_{\sup}(\psi)=\left\{x\in p\mathbb{Z}_p:\limsup_{n\rightarrow \infty}\frac{a_n(x)}{\psi(n)}=1\}\right\},\N\]\Nand \N\[\NE_{\inf}(\psi)=\left\{x\in p\mathbb{Z}_p:\liminf_{n\rightarrow \infty}\frac{a_n(x)}{\psi(n)}=1\right\}.\N\]\NThe main result of the paper concerns the Hausdorff dimensions of the sets \(E_{\sup}(\psi)\) and \(E_{\inf}(\psi)\) as well as the Hausdorff dimension of another variant of these sets. In particular, the main results prove that for any \(\psi\) with \(\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\psi(n)\), we have \(\dim_HE_{\sup}(\psi)=\dim_HE_{\inf}(\psi)\). Moreover, the authors compute \(\dim_HE_{\sup}(\psi)\) when the limit \(\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\frac{\psi(n)}{n}\) exists.
