A statistically isotropic cubic polycrystals is considered by the maximum entropy method. A micromechanical framework for evaluating isotropic diffraction elastic constants is reformulated into a simplified one-dimensional homogenization problem, expressed in terms of the effective shear modulus. By applying the singular approximation, a unified solution strategy was introduced that uses the well-known Voigt, Reuss, Hashin-Shtrikman, and self-consistent (Eshelby-Kröner) approaches. From a practical standpoint, this strategy can be viewed as a one-dimensional parametrization and interpolation process, with the effective shear modulus serving as the key parameter.
