The present paper is devoted to the problems of existence and uniqueness of generalized solutions for the semilinear Tricomi problem \[ \begin{gathered} Tu= f(x,y,u)\;\text{in}\;\Omega,\\ u= 0\;\text{on}\;AC\cup\sigma,\end{gathered} \] where \(T\equiv -y\partial^2_x- \partial y^2_y\) is the Tricomi operator, \(f\) is a nonlinearity to the specified and \(\Omega\) is a Tricomi domain; that is, a simply connected region in the plane whose boundary consists of a simple curve \(\sigma\) in the elliptic region where \(y> 0\) which meets \(x\)-axis in points \(A\) and \(B\) and the two characteristics \(AC\) and \(BC\) that issue from \(A\) and \(B\).
