After having provided a good exposition of the state of the art, the authors establish connections between new classes of generalized Stampacchia (weak) vector variational control inequalities and the corresponding multiple-objective extremization problems. New concepts of (strictly) strong convexity and preconvexity, associated with controlled multiple integral type functionals are introduced.\N\NThey also prove a mean value type theorem. Using these new concepts and result they determine relationships of these (weak) vector variational control inequalities with the associated multiple-objective optimization problems.
