The paper deals with the numerical simulation of the heat radiation exchange in a three-dimensional non-convex enclosure geometry with a diffusive and grey surface, which is described by a boundary integral equation of the second order. Due to the non-convexity of the enclosure a special attention is the paid to the shadow zones. Therefore the authors developed a geometrical algorithm to provide an efficient detection of these shadow zones. The boundary integrals are discretized by the boundary element method based on the Galerkin-Bubnow scheme. The arising system of linear equations is solved by the conjugate gradient method with a preconditioning. In order to demonstrate the efficiency of the method the authors consider a numerical example but the results are missing (probably by some misprints of the publisher).
