Let \((L(M),\delta)\) be a topological molecular lattice with a set \(M\) of \(\vee\)-irreducible elements and a topology \(\delta\). The authors introduce the concepts of \(\sigma\)-closure and \(\sigma\)-interior operators in \((L(M),\delta)\) and discuss relationships between these operators and closure, \(\theta\)-closure and Urysohn closure operators. They also establish the \(\sigma\)-convergence theory of molecular nets and \(\sigma\)-convergence of filters in \((L(M),\delta)\) and discuss mutual relationships between these convergences. They investigate conditions under which an order-homomorphism of \(L(M)\) is \(\sigma\)-continuous.
