Given a convex body \(K\) and an orthonormal basis \(\{u_1, \dots, u_n\}\) in \(\mathbb R^n\), \(n\geq 2\), the reverse Loomis-Whitney inequality has the form \[ \mathrm{vol}_n (K)^{n-1} \geq\gamma \prod_{i=1}^n\mathrm{vol}_{n-1} (K|u_i^{\perp}), \] where \(K|u_i^{\perp}\) denotes the orthogonal projection of \(K\) onto the hyperplane \(u_i^{\perp}\) perpendicular to \(u_i\). The supremum of all \(\gamma\) satisfying this inequality is called the LW-number and denoted by \(\lambda (n)\). The paper contains a series of new results related to this inequality and the bounds of \(\lambda (n)\) with the main focus on the case when \(K\) is a rational polytope.
