Weakly symmetry of a class of \(g\)-natural metrics on tangent bundles (Q728413)

The author studies a class of \(g\)-natural metrics \(G\) on the tangent bundle of a Riemannian manifold \(TM\), and prove that \((TM,G)\) is weakly symmetric if and only if \((M,g)\) is flat. Such metrics have been introduced in [\textit{Abbassi} et al., Mediterr. J. Math. 2, No. 1, 19--43 (2005; Zbl 1167.53304)]. The notion of weakly symmetric Riemannian manifold has been introduced in [\textit{L. Tamássy} and \textit{T. Q. Binh}, Tensor, New Ser. 53, 140--148 (1993; Zbl 0849.53038)] as a stronger version of recurrent and pseudo-symmetric Riemannian manifold. The author extends results in [\textit{C. L. Bejan} and \textit{M. Crasmareanu}, Publ. Math. 83, No. 1--2, 63--69 (2013; Zbl 1289.53073); \textit{T. Q. Binh} and \textit{L. Tamássy}, Indian J. Pure Appl.
