This paper deals with the existence of multiple positive solutions to three-point boundary value problem for one-dimensional \(p\)-Laplacian equation with advanced arguments: \[ (\phi_p(x'(t)))'+h(t)f(t, x(\alpha(t)))=0, t\in (0, 1), \] \[ x(0)=0, \beta x(\eta)=x(1), 0<\eta<1, \] where \(\phi(s)=|s|^{p-2}s, p>1\). By using a fixed point theorem due to \textit{R. I. Avery} and \textit{A. C. Peterson} [Comput. Math. Appl. 42, No.~3--5, 313--322 (2001; Zbl 1005.47051)], the author proves that there exist at least three positive solutions to the problem above provided that \(f\) and \(h\) satisfy certain conditions.
