In this nice paper, linear differential equations with infinitely many derivatives (appearing in modern physics) are investigated. The authors present the result on the existence of particular solutions of such type of linear equations. The solution method is based on the Borel transform (some generalization of Laplace and Fourier transforms). The formula for the solutions is presented for the class of exponential type functions (i.e. the set of entire functions bounded by an exponential one). In the paper, basic properties of such functions are presented. Moreover, translation-differential equations and convolution equations are discussed. In a separate part, a comparison of the method presented in the paper with other methods are discussed. Also, there are many interesting examples illustrating important problems as well as information about computing numerical solutions.
