The author has previously shown [Geom. Dedicata 7, 37-43 (1978; Zbl 0384.53028)] that even without differentiability conditions, an arc or curve of cyclic order four has at most four singular points. Presently, he obtains that even the sum of multiplicities of all singular points of such arc and curves is at most four.
