The article considers a linear controlled system with constant coefficients \(x=Ax+u\), \(u\in U\) where U is a convex compactum from \(E^ n\). The following question is examined: Does the fact that this system is locally controllable at the coordinate origin imply that some set \(M_ 1\) is stable relative to this same system? An example is given of a system that is locally controllable at the coordinate origin, relative to which any sphere \(S_ r(0)\), \(r>0\), is unstable. Sufficient stability conditions for the set are also obtained.
