\textit{U. Cegrell} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 51, 159--179 (2004; Zbl 1065.32020)] and \textit{Z. Błocki} [Am. J. Math. 128, No. 2, 519--530 (2006; Zbl 1102.32018)] described the maximal subset of plurisubharmonic functions for which the Monge-Ampère operator is, locally, well defined. \textit{V. Guedj} and \textit{A. Zeriahi} [J. Funct. Anal. 250, No. 2, 442--482 (2007; Zbl 1143.32022)] defined a class of \(\omega\)-plurisubharmonic functions on a compact Kähler manifold \((X, \omega )\) with \((\omega +dd^c u)^n\) globally well-defined and such that, given a measure \(\mu\) vanishing on pluripolar sets, one can solve \[ (\omega +dd^c u)^n = d\mu \] within this class. Interestingly, the latter family contains functions which, modulo Kähler potential, do not belong to the former. In this paper the authors present a method of finding such functions in \(\mathbb P ^n\) using a trick first employed in [\textit{U. Cegrell}, the reviewer and \textit{A. Zeriahi}, Ann. Fac. Sci. Toulouse, Math. (6) 20, 101--122 (2011; Zbl 1251.32026)]. From this they conclude that the subsolution theorem is not valid in the class of \(\omega _{FS} \)-plurisubharmonic functions with locally well-defined Monge-Ampère operator.
