Some results of [\textit{R. Lechner}, Stud. Math. 248, No. 3, 295--319 (2019; Zbl 1436.46011)] are used to obtain new primary Banach spaces. More precisely, the author provides some conditions on Orlicz sequence spaces or Marcinkiewicz sequence spaces that ensure that, for any \(1 \leq p \leq \infty\), the infinite direct sum of these these spaces in the sense of \(\ell_p\) is a primary space.
