The authors compute the supremum norm of 2-homogeneous polynomials \(P(x,y)=ax^2+by^2+cxy\) with \((a,b,c)\in\mathbb{R}^3\) on a circle sector \(D(\beta)=\{(r\cos\theta,r\sin\theta):0\le r\le1\mathrel,0\le\theta\le\beta\}\), which is a nonsymmetric convex surface. The unit ball and the extreme points of the 3-dimensional real normed vector space \(\mathcal{P}({^2}D(\beta))\) thus defined are computed, completing a study begun in [\textit{G. A. Muñoz-Fernández} et al., J. Convex Anal. 21, No. 3, 745--764 (2014; Zbl 1312.46048)], where it was noted that in case \(\pi\le\beta\le2\pi\) one has \(\mathcal{P}({^2}D(\beta))=\mathcal{P}({^2}D(2\pi))\), and where the cases \(\beta=\pi/4\), \(\pi/2\), \(3\pi/4\) were considered. Plots of the unit balls are provided for these cases and furthermore for the cases \(\beta=\pi/6\), \(3\pi/8\), \(3\pi/4-0.5\), \(3\pi/4+0.5\).
