This paper studies a boundary value problem of a one-dimensional steady-state SIS epidemic reaction-diffusion-advection system. In the cases \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] the advection rate is relatively large comparing to the diffusion rates of infected and susceptible populations; \item[(ii)] the diffusion rate of the susceptible population approaches zero, \end{itemize} by introducing a small parameter, the studied system can be treated as a singularly perturbed one. Then applying the renormalization group method, there is constructed the first-order approximate solution of the system and provided an error estimate of the approximate solution.
