    The flow of blood in a cell separating device is modelled as the flow of incompressible fluid in the narrow gap between two concentric cones rotating with equal angular velocity. The Navier-Stokes equations are solved for flow between two concentric cylinders and this solution is then used as the first term of a perturbation solution of the conical problem. The stability of the solution is also investigated. No numerical results are presented.
