Space of minimal prime ideals of a ring without nilpotent elements (Q790917)

The authors study the hull-kernel topology on the spectrum of a non- commutative ring with unit and its restriction to the minimal spectrum, i.e. the set of the minimal prime ideals. They characterize compactness of the minimal spectrum. The final theorem establishes a functorial correspondence between the category of normal rings and their minimal spectra; here the authors forget to mention that only epimorphisms are considered in their category of normal rings!
