The author proves the following theorem: Let M be a complete foliated Riemannian manifold with a foliation F, and the Riemannian metric be a bundle-like metric with respect to F. If all leaves of F are minimal and the Ricci operator of F is non-positive everywhere and negative for at least one point of M, then every transverse Killing field of F with finite global norm is trivial. The theorem generalizes a result of \textit{F. W. Kamber} and \textit{P. Tondeur} [Tôhoku Math. J., II. Ser. 34, 525- 538 (1982; Zbl 0488.57009)], the classical theorem of \textit{S. Bochner} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 52, 776-797 (1946; Zbl 0060.383)], as well as some previous result of the author.
