The paper deals with the flow of an incompressible fluid rotating with a constant angular velocity between two infinite disks and subjected to a distribution of sources and sinks across the disks. The equations are linearized on the assumption of small Rossby number. It is noted that the horizontal flow in the interior or in the Ekmann layers is uneffected by introducing an inflow over any finite domain of one disk with an equal outflow over the same domain of the other disk. There is an identical flow parallel to the disks in both the Ekmann layers. The results are illustrated by an example.
