The author generalises A. Monteiro's construction of a three-valued Lukasiewicz-Moisil algebra from a monadic Boolean algebra and gives a construction of a three-valued Lukasiewicz-Moisil algebra from a monadic three-valued Lukasiewicz-Moisil algebra. On the other hand, a construction of a monadic three-valued Lukasiewicz-Moisil algebra from a monadic n-valued Lukasiewicz-Moisil algebra is presented. The author notes without proof that a three-valued Lukasiewicz-Moisil algebra can be constructed from a monadic \((1+\theta)\)-valued algebra.
