The autors seek a solution to the direct radiation transport problem and apply integral transform techniques to reduce the problem to a form suitable for computations. This paper presents another application of the \(F_ N\) method to provide a basis for approximate but rather accurate solutions. An application to the classical search-light problem for a halfspace is presented.
