On entropy-like invariants for dynamical systems (Q802032)

The author studies generalizations of the concept of entropy of a measure preserving transformation, obtained when the function \(h(x)=-x \log x\) is replaced by suitable other functions g. This yields new invariants. They are computed in some cases; (in which the new invariants cannot give additional information). The results seem distinct from those in several attempts by other authors aiming in the same direction; [see e.g. \textit{M. Behara} and \textit{P. Nath}, Lect. Notes Math. 296, 102-138 (1973; Zbl 0282.94020)]. But unfortunately no comparison is made with their results.
