Fuzzy norms, probabilistic norms and fuzzy metrics (Q804913)

\textit{A. K. Katsaras} in his paper ``Fuzzy topological vector spaces II, Fuzzy sets and Syst. 12, 143-154 (1984; Zbl 0555.46006'' and \textit{Wu Congxin} and \textit{Fang Ginxuan} in their paper ``Fuzzy generalization of Kolmogoroff's theorem, J. Harbin Inst. Technology 1, 1-7 (1984)'' separately introduced the definition of fuzzy norms. Although they have different forms, they are almost the same in the sense that one determines the others. In this note, the authors of this note give several necessary and sufficient conditions of fuzzy norms in the sense of Katsaraa or fuzzy metrics considered by other authors. They consider also relations between many definitions of fuzzy metric considered by other authors.
