The Maass spaces on the half plane of complex numbers and quaternions of degree two were investigated by Kojima in 1982 and A. Krieg in 1987 respectively. It was introduced by H. Maaß in 1979 for the investigation of Saito-Kurokawa's conjecture about Siegel modular cusp forms of degree two. In this paper, we consider the Maass space on the half plane of Cayley numbers of degree two and prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the Maaß space \({\mathcal M}(k,{\mathcal C})\) and modular forms of weight k-4 for positive even integer \(k\geq 4\). The correspondence can be obtained by considering the Fourier-Jacobi expansion of the modular form in the Maass space.
