The finite capacity multi-server queue with inhomogeneous arrival rate and discrete service time distribution - and its application to continuous service time problems (Q806661)

The authors propose an algorithm for the numerical solution of the problem described in the title. The algorithm has been implemented in PASCAL on a VAX 11/780. The obtained numerical results concern the time dependent distributions of the number of customers in the system at each epoch. The authors use a method to approximated the queueing system with continuous service times using discrete service times that match them in the first two moments.
