In many papers J. Denef made a remarkable application of logic to number theory, when he used the quantifier-elimination established by the author [J. Symbolic Logic 41, 605-610 (1976; Zbl 0362.02046)] to prove rationality of various p-adic Poincaré series. The scope of this paper is to prove that the rationality is uniform in p.
