On the weights of the fixed points of an automorphism of a compact Riemann surface (Q818729)

In the papers [\textit{C. Towse}, Math. Proc. Cambridge Philos. Soc. 122, 385--392 (1997; Zbl 0888.30027); \textit{F. Torres}, Manuscripta Math. 83, 39--58 (1994; Zbl 0838.14025) and \textit{K. Watanabe}, Math. J. Toyama Univ. 21, 117--120 (1998; Zbl 0956.30020)] a sharp lower bound for the Weierstrass weight of fixed points of involutions of compact Riemann surfaces was computed. In this paper the author generalizes this computation to automorphisms of arbitrary order. An arithmetical approach of the subject of this paper can be found in [\textit{C. Carvalho} and \textit{F.
