    The \(i\)th dual quermassintegral of the polar mixed projection body \(\Pi^*(K_1,\dots,K_{n-1})\) of the convex bodies \(K_1,\dots,K_{n-1}\) in \({\mathbb R}^n\) is given by \[ \widetilde{W}_i(\Pi^*(K_1,\dots,K_{n-1})) =\frac{1}{n} \int_{S^{n-1}} v(K_1^u,\dots,K_{n-1}^u)^{-(n-i)}\, dS(u). \] Here \(S^{n-1}\) is the unit sphere and \(S\) denotes the spherical Lebesgue measure, \(K^u\) is the image of \(K\) under orthogonal projection to the subspace \(u^{\perp}\), for \(u\in S^{n-1}\), and \(v(\cdot,\dots,\cdot)\) denotes the mixed volume in dimension \(n-1\). Combining geometric inequalities for mixed volumes (Minkowski, Aleksandrov-Fenchel, Brunn-Minkowski), applied to the integrand, with integral inequalities (Hölder, Minkowski), one can obtain inequalities for dual quermassintegrals of polar mixed projection bodies and their specialisations. This is carried out in the present paper. The established inequalities are in striking analogy to inequalities for quermassintegrals of mixed projection bodies that were obtained earlier by \textit{E. Lutwak} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 339, 901--916 (1993; Zbl 0784.52009)]. \{Reviewer's remark. Correct author names in the references: [1] Alexander Koldobsky, [25] Monika Ludwig.\}
