Let \(V\) be a (proper) simply connected planar domain and \(U\) a preimage component of \(V\) under a transcendental entire function \(f\). The Riemann mapping theorem tells that one can associate an inner function \(g: \mathbb{D}\to\mathbb{D}\) to the above map \(f: U\to V\). Such inner function is a (finite or infinite) Blaschke product. This scheme appears naturally in dynamics, in particular when \(U\) is a forward invariant Fatou component of transcendental entire functions. The authors study the relation between singularities of \(g\) and accesses to \(\infty\) in \(U\) (see Theorem 1.2), thus giving also a generalization of previous results in the literature. Moreover, they consider the inverse problem, asking what finite Blaschke products can arise in the dynamical setting described above. Some concrete families of functions are explored.
