    Let \(1 \leq p < \infty\), \(\rho \subseteq [0,1)\) with 1 as a limit point and \(K\) a compact subset of the unit circle \(\mathbb{T}\) with arc length measure 0. Denote by \(\mathbb{D}\) the unit disk, and by \(\mathcal{V}_{H^p}^K(\mathbb{D},\rho)\) the set of all functions \(f\) in the Hardy space \(H^p\) satisfying that for any given continuous function \(\phi\) on \(K\) and any compact subset \(L\) of \(\mathbb{D}\), there exists an increasing sequence \((r_n)_{n \in \mathbb{N}} \subseteq \rho\) converging to 1 such that \[ \sup_{\zeta \in K} \sup_{z \in L} \big|f\big(r_n(\zeta - z) + z\big) - \phi(\zeta)\big| \underset{n \to \infty}{\longrightarrow} 0. \] By combining methods from [\textit{S. Charpentier}, J. Approx. Theory 254, Article ID 105391 (2020; Zbl 1460.30020)] and [\textit{H.-P. Beise} and \textit{J. Müller}, Math. Z. 284, 1185--1197 (2016; Zbl 1360.30003)] the author proves that \(\mathcal{V}_{H^p}^K(\mathbb{D},\rho)\) is a dense \(G_\delta\) subset of \(H^p\). Similar results are obtained for the Bergman space \(A^p\) and the Dirichlet space \(\mathcal{D}\); and the authors examines also functions in \(H^p\) and \(A^p\) whose derivarites of any order also have universal radial limits.
