Some notes on the characterization of compact sets of fuzzy sets with \(L_p\) metric (Q835198)

Let \((S^n_0,d_p)\) denote the space of fuzzy star-shaped numbers with respect to the origin with \(L_p\)-metric \(d_p\) for \(1\leq p<\infty\). The authors characterize compact sets in \((S^n_0,d_p)\). Let \((E^n, d_p)\) be the space of fuzzy numbers with \(L_p\)-metric \(d_p\). The compact sets in \((E^n,d_p)\) are also characterized.
