The author considers a system of the form \[ \begin{cases} - \Delta u = a u + b v + v^{p} + \epsilon f(x), & \text{in } \Omega, \\ - \Delta v = c u + d v + u^{q} + \epsilon g(x), & \text{in } \Omega, \end{cases} \] where \( \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^{N} \), \( p, q, \epsilon > 0\), \( u, v = 0\) on \( \partial \Omega \) and \( a, \dots, d \) are constants. The positivity of the solutions is studied and some assumptions are given that ensure the positivity of both \( u \) and \( v \).
