If \(A\) is a linear operator of \(\mathbb K ^n\) (\(\mathbb R ^n, \mathbb C ^n\)), then an \(A\)-invariant subspace \(\mathcal S\) of \(\mathbb K ^n\) is stable if, for sufficiently close linear operators \(\| A'-A\| <\delta \), there exists an \(A'\)-invariant subspace \(\mathcal S'\) with the gap distance between \(\mathcal S'\) and \(\mathcal S\) not exceeding a small \(\varepsilon \)-value. If this distance does not exceed \(L\| A'-A\| \) with constant \(L\), then \(\mathcal S\) is called Lipschitz stable. For a given pair of matrices \((A,B)\), the authors study the Lipschitz stability of \((A,B)\)-controlled invariant subspaces. A sufficient condition for stability is derived from the geometry of the set formed by the quadruples \((A,B,F,S)\) where \(S\) is an \((A,B)\)-invariant subspace and \(F\) is a corresponding feedback.
