The notion of \(d\)-orthogonality studied extensively by \textit{K. Douak} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 70, No. 2, 279--295 (1996; Zbl 0863.33007)] is comparatively new one in the theory of special functions and needs systematic exploration. The present paper indeed is a good attempt in this direction and the authors are successful in studying a few new \(d\)-OPs. The results obtained here are interesting and motivating.
